The kitchen will give you the opportunity to taste dishes from the great Italian catering and Aosta Valley dishes, always presented with a touch of contemporaneity by our young chef who pays great attention to raw materials and their presentation.
This will give you the opportunity to appreciate local and seasonal products with greedy curiosity.
Furthermore, our room service will be the common thread that will give attention and courtesy to guests to make you live an unforgettable moment: a true experience.
All dishes will be tasted through the experience of consuming the dishes on real works of art created ad hoc by the owner, as well as international artist Gabriele Maquignaz.
Art and passion in a real bistro with an excellent bottle of artfully decanted wine ... the culinary experience can begin!
Here I am Christian Turra, the chef of the Bistrot de l'Artist.
I was born in 1995 in Valle D'Aosta. Despite my young age, I have a very broad vision of cooking thanks to European experiences and oriental travels. After completing my studies in the hotel school of Châtillon, I gained experience in starred restaurants in France, Spain and Milan, citing among which El Celler De Can Roca in Girona and Il posto di Aimo e Nadia, one of the most important symbols of Italian culture of food.
In these restaurants the chefs for me were strict masters who trained me and made me understand that cooking is a subject to be faced with extreme discipline, dedication and imagination. All my path has given me the opportunity to discover and respect different ingredients, paying attention to their origin and to treat them in the right way.
In 2019 and 2020, I participated in the television program, Cuochi d'Italia, a regional championship of traditional cuisine, where I reached the 2nd place.
Now I have decided to undertake this path and to take charge of the needs of Gabriele and Nicole in this new bistro and to combine the two arts, gastronomic and artistic, in this project.
